Who are we ?

HOLIDAYS2THECANARIES is a booking centre whose objective is to manage rural house rentals in the Canary Islands.

In our offer, we include only rentals of a high standard of quality, previously checked by our team, in order that all the rentals comply with the minimal requirements to guarantee client satisfaction. Our offer is made up of « LEGAL » rural houses supported by the Tenerife Municipality, and complies to all the established legal requirements under the law 18 dated March 5, 1998.

Prices

The prices for renting are indicated per night. On the leaflet in each home, details of prices can be found (per person, per season, etc).

The price includes various costs of the house (electricity, gas, water, bedding, towels).
None of the prices shown on the website take into account the 5% lgic (Indirect Canarian General Tax ).
The rural houses are generally rented by the week. However, on the leaflet in each home we have specified the minimum stay acceptable, although this cannot be confirmed in many cases until 1 week before arrival or should be consulted in the high season.

Rural houses

All the rural houses have bedding, bath towels and tea towels. Items such as soap, detergent, washing-up liquid, toilet paper are not provided.

The rural houses are available on arrival from 17.00p.m. and up to 10.00 a.m. on departure day, after mutual agreement between the client and the person in charge of the house.

Prepayment

In order to formalize a booking, it is necessary to make a prepayment within 3 days of reception of confirmation of your booking. Passed this delay the booking will not be treated and will be cancelled automatically. The amount of prepayment can vary depending on the type of rental. On each booking form the applied conditions are specified. Normally the rest of the rent will be paid in cash at the time when the keys are handed over at the beginning of the stay ; it could also be made by bank transfer 7 days before arrival. Consequently please take note of the payment modalities on your booking confirmation.

Cancellation

On the part of the client
The client can cancel his booking at any time before the beginning of his stay. This must be made in writing (email, fax or letter).
In the case of cancellation of the booking, cancellation fees will apply, the amount of which depends on the delay of notice of cancellation given .

Below are details of cancellation fees that apply
In case of cancellation up to 15 days before date of arrival : 25% of the rent.
In case of cancellation between 7 to 15 days before date of arrival : 50% of the rent .
In case of cancellation between 4 to 6 : 75% of the rent.
In case of cancellation less than 4 days before arrival : 100% of the rent.
In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or of non-presentation by the client, total reimbursement of the rental must be made.

On the part of HOLIDAYS2THECANARIES

HOLIDAYS2THECANARIES can cancel a booking for reasons outside its control or of « force majeure », it should offer alternative accommodation similar to that booked, or reimburse the client the total amount of the deposit paid.

Duty to collaborate

The client should check the inventory of the house upon arrival and inform HOLIDAYS2THECANARIES of any defects within 24 hours in order to rectify them. In other words, any claims to do with the accomodation should be made without delay.

Any claims made after that will not be taken into account and cannot be compensated later.

The client agrees to use the premises correctly and all equipment belonging to the premises and to communicate any possible damage that he has caused during his stay, under an obligation to restore everything. The accommodation must be delivered in a good state of cleanliness. Use of the house, garden and swimming pool is the responsibility of the client; neither the property nor HOLIDAYS2THECANARIES.com are responsible for inappropriate use.

Use of the facilities is limited to persons staying in the rural house. It is forbidden to invite or receive any persons not included in the reservation.

HOLIDAYS2THECANARIES.com is engaged in the protection of the environment. As a « environment friendly » company, it promotes the institution of good environmental practices in all the houses proposed on its website, in that way contributing to the development of ecotourism in the Canary Islands.
