This hotel has been refurbished with exquisite care, incorporating todays modern comforts without losing its original features. All the rooms are decorated in a rustic style and keeping with the atmosphere of the middle 19th century. There are 15 different rooms and two suites which are all situated in either of the two main buildings and the garden.

Rural Hotel Senderos de Abona is located in the picturesque village of Granadilla de Abona, a town that is situated in the south of the island of Tenerife. It can be found 600m up among mountains, sea and ravines.

Granadilla is a village that offers tranquility, charming excursions, and is situated 10km from the beach of el Médano.

Here on the mountain landscapes you will find many forest trails and footpaths for walking, all the way to the coastal areas and white sandy beaches.

In the surrounding areas there are many natural spots (the National Park of the Teide) where you can partake in many nature activities.

El Médano and los Abrigos, which are only minutes from the hotel, are old sailor towns that have the best natural beaches in the island and they also offer lots of water sports activities.

As this is a family run hotel, the owners enjoy preparing typical dishes of the area. To eat good fish, rabbit with canarian potatoes or another traditional Canarian dish means you wouldn't have to eat anywhere else! The hotel also has a small bar for a glass of wine or small beer before retiring to the room.
